Notable Community Participation          
Capacity - Building Component          
Trainings for the grantee will include project reformulation, log frame development, GIS technology and mapping, monitoring and evaluation in projects. The implementation of this project will lead to capacity development of the organization. The capacities of staff will be enhanced through the use of camera, laptops, and research equipment provided by the project. A website will be developed to give publicity to the project. Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods          
The proposed organic vegetable cultivation program enables the community to sell organic products which will give them economic benefits. Through the proposed programme on value addition of dairy based products, dairy farmers can earn an enhanced income. Bio gas production using the cow manure will also be produced. This allows dairy farmers to produce bio gas for their home requirements, and thereby reducing costs for gas and electricity.
Gender Focus          
The proposed project benefits both women and men. Proposed Organic Cultivation Program and dairy program will benefit both male and female members. Especially, women will contribute more to the value addition of the program. The Wastewater Management Program in the wetland will have equal participation and benefit both men and women.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment          
Several communication methods will be used to make the community aware of the proposed project. Handouts, posters and awareness boards are used make the general public aware. It also plan to share knowledge with the public through the proposed website. A few methods are used to make school children aware. art, essay and poster competitions are proposed to increase the knowledge on conservation of wetlands among school children.
