Sri Lanka Environment Exploration Society (SLEES)
Sri Lanka Environment Exploration Society (SLEES) is an island-wide environmental organization established in 1992. It is registered under the Central Environment Authority of Sri Lanka (No. 6/6/17/18/3) and the National Secretariat for NGOs. Our members include professionals, university students, school children and community leaders.
We are committed to the cause of conservation of the environment and our activities cover diverse aspects including research, exploring the environment, conservation with community participation, and public awareness programs etc. We carry out environment-related projects in remote areas where there are less facilities. Global Environmental Facility/Small Grants Project of UNDP is the main donor agency of our organization.
